Belle Epoque

Belle Epoque represents the currents that existed from the second half of the 19th century to the Art Deco style of the 1930s.
The points of reference of this collection are the "Streamline" style mainly found in car design, the film "Metropolis" by F. Lang in 1927, the Gigantism of American architecture with skyscrapers such as the Chrysler Building, symbol of New York since 1930. This collection evokes the Imperialist era, the boom of made in U.S.A. culture.
Art Deco was the symbol of that period, characterised by the use of materials such as aluminium, stainless steel, lacquer, carved wood, the heavy sue of zigzag or chequered shapes, "V" shaped and sun ray patterns. A compact yet volumetrically dynamic and abundant style. Dec30, a complete range of living room furniture, lies in between two collections: Belle Epoque for the obvious 30s style and Xence for its precious finishings.
