Description

Pastel colours, drapery from the American golden age and patterns of the aprons of mothers in the post-war period; the chair and armchair fabrics of this collection define its style evoking the American boom period.
The Cinquanta collection can be combined with different types of furniture thanks to its innovative colour solutions in line with the current trend that recalls America’s fifties fashion. The fabrics recall classic menswear of that period from Prince of Wales check to tartan, from twill to Shetland and hound's tooth check. Shiny lacquered wood delicately frames the pink tartan which displays the sweet yet sensual character of the chair.
Ladylì is the symbol of this collection; a chair reminiscent of a feminine figure, a slim, slender, quiet woman, dressed with delicate colours which does not impose herself but is noticed for her qualities.
It can be combined with the Cinquanta table that recalls our grandmothers’ formica tables; a table with slender chromed legs, and a decorative style similar to the Ladylì, but with its own identity.
The console table is very similar to those found in every home in the ‘50s; a celebration of that period which marked an important moment in the history of design.
